Dr Hari Prasad is Associate Professor in Englishat Zakir Husain Delhi College Evening, University of Delhi. He has been awardedwith M.Phil.(English) from the Department of English, University of Delhi and Ph.D.(English)  from the Centre for EnglishStudies (CES), Jawaharlal Nehru university (JNU) for his Doctoral thesis titledIrish Nation in Text and Performance: A Study of Select Plays Written for theAbbey Theatre from 1899-1945. He was also awarded with the University GrantsCommission (UGC) (NET/JRF) fellowship in June-2006. His area of research andcurrent interest includes Irish Literature and Theatre studies, EighteenCentury British Literature, Australian Aboriginal Narratives, TranslationStudies in India, and Dalit Writing in Indian Literatures. He has edited threebooks titled (Re) Defining Marginalities (Conference Proceedings),Foundation Course on Language, Literature and Creativity (English), MassCommunication: a Handbook and published research papers in literaryjournals. Dr Prasad is actively engaged in academic activities held in thecollege and member of various statutory bodies in the college. Dr Prasad isalso the Liaison Officer (SC/ST) of the college.
