The department comprised of young, ardent and highly qualified ten faculty members. Each of the teaching faculty is being engaged in continuous research towards their specialised area of study and other academic interests; and committed to the work ethos of the college. The faculty of the department has also published books and written research articles in reputed journals. The department offers wide range of papers and the following courses:
M.A. Political Science;
B.A.(Honours) Political Science;
B.A.(Programme) with following combinations: (History-Political Science; Economics-Political Science;Philosophy/Arabic/Bengali/English/Hindi/Sanskrit/Persian/Urdu with Political Science).
Other than the above courses the department also offers Generic Elective courses for the students of other discipline of Honours and Programme courses.
