About the Department
TheDepartment of Environmental Studies at Zakir Husain Delhi College (Evening) isone of the most vibrant and progressive departments. It focuses on blendingtheory with experiential learning and has a forward-looking vision to fosterexpertise in key environmental areas such as environmental processes, naturalresource management, ecosystem restoration, and pollution control strategies.The department places significant emphasis on biodiversity conservation,environmental laws, policies, and sustainability. It aims to instil a deepunderstanding of environmental conservation and sustainable practices.
Through a multidisciplinary approach, the department equipsstudents with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience to addresscritical environmental challenges.
