The English Literary Society stands as one of Zakir Husain Delhi College (Evening)'s premier societies. It enjoys a well-established and esteemed reputation among the literary societies within the University of Delhi. The society hosts numerous events that serve as a platform for students to showcase their literary prowess and other extracurricular talents. This is achieved through a series of competitive inter-college events, including but not limited to quizzes, creative writing contests, mono-acting performances, and meme/reel-making competitions. Furthermore, the society regularly conducts workshops, seminars, lecture series, and panel discussions to enrich intellectual discourse and broaden the horizons of its members.

The English Literary Society's dedicated team includes faculty members Mr. Saksham Arora (Convener) and Dr. Anas Tabraiz (TIC). The student wing comprises seven core members along with twelve volunteers. The society is represented by Mr. Madhusudan Tyagi (President), Mr. Aman Singh (Vice- President), Ms. Sandhya Kumari Kashyap (Secretary), Ms. Shreya Saklani (Joint Secretary), Ms. Rounak Khare (Sponsorship Head), Ms. Moniska Litt (Social Media Head), and Ms. Huda Akram (Treasurer).
